I think I want to walk around the world...

I'm seven days into my journey now and feeling quite pleased with everything. My backpack and boots are good (no blisters) and I have everything I need. Seems my big camera is getting heavier by the day and my shoulder is not liking it very much.

today i bought a down filled vest because I'm often cold in the evenings. I am sometimes too cold to go out and explore (you'd think I'd get enough walking during the day...) and the albergues are typically damp, dark and cold. Were expecting at least 4 days of rain and 13 degree temperatures. So now I'm well prepared for that.

But today was sunny and mild and I'm very happy to be travelling with a lovely crew from Canada, holland and Sweden. We aren't doing much in the way of independent soul searching, but we sure are having fun! I just love the social element of this adventure.

Tonight I'm in logrono and plan to go out for a fancy meal in the old town. Tomorrow I hope to walk 30 kms to Najera.
